Chateau du Payre's vineyards (Arnaud & Marcuzzi) are located in the areas of Cardan and Rions within Bordeaux. The vineyard has been passed down from mother to daughter for five generations. They have 35 acres of grapes. They grow mostly Merlot grapes.
They also grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and more. The plot you are currently seeing is of Semillon, used to make sweet wine. The growth grapes, concentrating the sugars. This allows for residual sugars in the wine.
